50/50 SAPPY WALNUT

Sappy, or 50/50 Walnut is for those looking for something different. If you're looking for something classy and radical at the same time, this is it. This colorful floor works well in most spaces, especially more contemporary spaces, but it has a great rustic, country look as well. 

Character:

Utilizing the heartwood and the sapwood of the Walnut tree, Sappy Walnut, or 50/50 has a wide range of colors from the lighter sapwood, to the darker heartwood. 

Color:

A rich blend light and dark tones, from a light cream, a light silver, and a dark coffee tone. 

Usage:

This species works best where you're looking for a dash of spice in interior spaces.  Accent walls, fireplaces, and inside open cabinets are a favorite. It also works great as a floor, mixed with a rustic or modern space.

Fun Fact

Allen Phillips once installed this on a twenty foot tall fireplace wall while wearing a leg brace. The leg brace was a result of a chainsaw accident that nearly cut his leg off.
